| These are pictures of our lovely dog, 'Jimmy Cook Elliott'. Because he was born in 1988 (the year Australia turned 200) we named him for the explorer who first navigated Oz, Captain James Cook. Jimmy spent 9 fabulous years with us before being called to the Big Kennel in the Sky. He spent most of those nine years having rests between sleeps and eating anything that vaguely resembled a bone! He used to take us for a bushwalk every second day, and was invaluble at patrolling the yard for us. His best canine friend was Rusty Martin, a doberman from three houses up the road who used to come and visit Jimmy regularly. In these pics, he is at play in the meadows near our house, and in the second, is resting in the shade of our back garden. | |
