Hannah (left) and Virginia (right) were born on May 9, 1991 in Richmond, Virginia, and joined their new
family about eight weeks later.

They are, indeed, sisters, and get along like most siblings-- sometimes
they do; sometimes they don't. They are 13" Beagles, weighing in at around fifteen pounds each,
although they weighed a bit more than that prior to their May 1996 move across the country from
Virginia to California and their subsequent bathing beauty titles. They moved with their mom and dad,
Judy and Gary Watts, from Fredericksburg, Virginia to Huntington Beach, California after Gary was
transferred to the West Coast by the Federal government. They adjusted to California weather (and
sniffs!) immediately, making the entire family's transition that much easier. They are now the unofficial
hostesses and welcoming committee for the beach trail along the Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington
Beach and have made many new friends there. The surfers, in particular, enjoy their "cool dudette"
sunglasses, which are really UV protection from the sun for their eyes.

| Their favorite pastimes are eating, sleeping, taking walks, "singing," and playing, pretty much in that order. They have lovely voices and give concerts upon request to various sized, always-appreciative audiences. Hannah and Virginia have been dubbed "the happy pups" by those who know and love them on the trail -- and indeed, they are just that. | |
