Raffles (named for the Amateur Cracksman) is about two years old... he was adopted from an animal shelter on September 11, 1996, and his true past is veiled in mystery. His mistress Elizabeth fell in love with his dashing good looks (despite the fact that he was nothing but skin and bones at the time) and his gallant wagging tail. When she got him home she found out that beauty was more than skin-deep... from the beginning Raffie was gentlemanly in his house-habits and friendly to all the neighbors. He likes eating, sleeping in the sun, taking long brisk walks, eating, howling, having his belly scratched, eating, chewing on his stuffed Lambie, and snuggling on the loveseat for hours at a time (particularly when Elizabeth is eating something).
