| Hunter was the third chosen out of a litter of seven to bring love and happiness to a family of humans. On arrival to his new home he was given the name Hunter, for he was one of the last in a long history of hunting families. Practically overnight Hunter learned to sleep in the bed with his new owners, lay on their heads, lick their faces, dig in their hair, and in general make them the happiest people in the world. He also learned rather quickly how to chew up new shoes, drink from the toilet, tip over his water and food bowl tracking water all over the house, knocking over the trash can and finding the absolute smelliest thing in the yard to freshen himself up with. | |
