This is Boots; he is almost two years old. Boots
was shot in the side with a .45 caliber muzzle loader round and survived.
He was taken to the Vet at the time to be destroyed, but my daughter, his half
owner, wanted to try to save him. The round is still in him, next to his
heart. The local Veterinarians call him "Wonder Dog" and he is very
special, as are all Beagles.
