This is Tippy (a.k.a. Tipper, Bubba, Tipperloo and Baby Beagle Boy) our 10 1/2-year-old beagle. He has a very high opinion of himself and is often referred to as "Beagle with an attitude". He loves pizza, I mean he REALLY LOVES pizza. He can smell the delivery person 1/2 a mile away! We don't feed him pizza (except the crusts on occasion) so I don't know what started his obsession. One time, we left the house for about a half-hour. There was a pizza box with 2 slices left in it on the countertop (we didn't see any danger in this, as Tippy is not all that tall). Well, only Tippy knows for sure the sequence of events that followed, but let me just describe the scene we found upon our return home: a large pile of dark green cushions (from our living room couch) in the middle of the kitchen floor beneath them, an empty pizza box (somehow he even managed to close it again before trying to disguise it). Where, you ask was Tippy, a.k.a. Pizza Fiend? Lying on his bed in the living room looking all wide-eyed and innocent. "Who me?" Needless to say, after we recovered from endless fits of laughter, we explained this was NOT what good little beagle boys did when Mom and Dad are gone. Personally, I don't think he was listening.
