The Bratdogs Idgie (left) and Lucy are two happy and healthy beagles, but weren't always. Both girls, now about 3, were found as abandoned strays. Lucy, the larger at 15", weighed a scant 18 pounds when she was found. A year and a half and 12 pounds later, her physical and emotional turn-around attests to the fact that all dogs deserve a chance. Idgie, a 13" beagle, was found in better condition at about 9 months of age. Here she proudly shows off her Eddie Munster haircut.
