Phyllis is 3 years old, and was a birthday present
for Nancy's husband, Tom (who didn't know he wanted a beagle for his birthday).
They also have two black doxies, Wolfgang and Cera, and have had two brown
doxies who are no longer alive, Vuter and Yocco. They decided they
wanted a taller dog, with a loving personality, and found
Phyllis! She is a big scardy cat, and demonstrates this by running and
hiding if you shake a paper bag or a cereal box at her. She should enjoy
hunting but the biggest thing she has ever hunted is a spider. Phyllis
thinks she is an ugly dachsund, and Nancy and Tom really love her personality.
