The Daily Digital Photo
Clayton, Spenser, Scooter and Sherman: then and now.
September 25, 2009
Is this photo blurry? I think it is, but I'm not sure. I've looked at it
with and without contacts, with and without glasses, with and without reading
glasses. How did I come to have so many options? I had Lasik surgery in
2003. I went from being highly myopic (-8.5) to having 20/20 vision, literally
overnight. It was amazing. But it lasted less than five years and at my
checkup last week I was -3.00 in one eye, -1.75 in the other. So I have
progressive bifocals as well as contact lenses (with which I require reading glasses).
My opthamologist says that of all his Lasik patients my eyes have regressed the most.
Maggie has settled in and is having a fun time at Beagle Camp. Her presence reminds us how much Sherman enjoys having a companion he can play with. We're thinking about it -- that's all I have to say for now :-)
