The Daily Digital Photo
Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter
September 24, 2007
Yesterday while Phillip took Spenser on a Special Walk™, I took Clayton for a
stroll on the canal. I would love to regale you with beautiful photos of
the tow path, where the leaves have started to change and the water shimmers
with the promise of fall. I had plenty of time to take photos, because Clayton
was interested only in sniffing. In one spot. For minutes at a time. I
had to pull him along and suffice it to say we didn't cover a whole lot of
ground. But that's okay, he's entitled. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera.
I did remember to bring it when we went to Trader Joes. I don't
ordinarily bring along photographic equipment to supermarkets, but you
have to understand that I only found out last week that we were but
forty minutes from a Trader Joes and this was our FIRST TIME there! For
those of you (most of you, no doubt) who don't know what Trader Joes is, it is
a yuppy grocery store which sells your requisite organic this and that, but also
many delicious cereals, cookies, crackers, and other snack food which I eat
more or less nonstop when I visit my sister in Oregon. She lives only ten minutes away from
a Trader Joes and after I discovered the Jumbo Raisin Medley when I visited last
month she sent me a care package with two bags of them the week after I got home. Hey, Nance! Look!
They sell the Jumbo Raisin Medley in New Jersey!
Last but certainly not least, please join me in wishing my dear friend Rita a
very happy birthday: Happy Birthday, Rita!
