Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter

October 2, 2008

Late in the day at work yesterday, I was bemoaning the fact that the Internet was leaving me behind. Now, I have been writing web applications for thirteen or fourteen years, so I'm up on technology. But I've never even VISITED Facebook or MySpace, I don't Twitter and I don't Digg. I'm at like Web 1.333. So when Phillip called to tell me he was stuck in traffic and could I find out what was going on, I took this as a personal challenge. TV wouldn't work because the local news covers only traffic problems in and around New York City. Who cares! Phillip was stuck on route 287. So to make a long story short I turned to Google and found a webcam.

I'm not sure how helpful it was but I felt a little better. The Internet was back in my hands. Now only to explain to Spenser that his daddy will be late.
