Chronicling the life of Clayton, Spenser and Scooter

October 21, 2004

Growing up in Massachusetts in the days of Carl Yastrzemski and Rico Petrocelli, I have fond memories of flipping baseball cards against the steps of my elementary school during that great fall of 1967 when the Red Sox won the Pennant race. We ate our sandwiches on "Yaz" bread, which was round and thus perfectly suited for a slice of bologna. Maybe this will be the year for the Sox to go all the way and defeat the Curse of the Bambino. Keep your fingers and paws crossed.
