Clayton, Spenser, Scooter and Sherman: then and now.

November 9, 2009

The Delaware and Raritan Canal used to be a shipping route from New York to Pennsylvania but now it's a state park and a lovely state park it is. It's a narrow park, too, copmrising just the canal and the tow path (so named because mules towed the barges down the canal). The park sees lots of bikers and runners and walkers and dogs. Horses on occasion, too. You have to pick up after your dog, but horses are mysteriously exempt. Go figure.
