Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter

November 26, 2007

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went to Brooklyn where Phillip's sister Sara lives. She cooked a wonderful feast including a pumpkin cheesecake because it was my birthday as well. We have not taken the boys with us for Thanksgiving for several years, ever since Scooter freaked out and started a fight with Clayton. We decided to give it a try this year, even though Phillip's brother was bringing Moses the Mastiff and Levi (the mutt). Sara's sheltie Tuie was there as well. It was a little crowded in her house but everyone got along swimmingly. Even the drive to Brooklyn went well and we made it in under an hour. Spenser navigated, of course.

They love taking walks in Brooklyn. So much great stuff on the ground, and I only had to pull one chicken bone out of Spenser's mouth! Here they are at the starting gate.

Let the peeing begin!

Sara lives just one block from the Promenade and its view of Manhattan.

Check out the furrowed brow. There must have been two hundred different pee scents.

Make that two hundred and one.
