Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter

March 26, 2009

As I've mentioned, Clayton is usually right on my heels in the woods because he knows I have treats in my pocket. Yesterday when I stopped at one the pre-designated treat spots, Spenser got right in position but Clayton was not there. I admit, I was momentarily worried until I turned and saw him sniffing something way back on the trail. I yelled (because he doesn't hear well) and made an exaggerated motion of digging in my pocket. I held the treat up and Clayton came RUNNING.

Imagine if it was this easy to cajole world leaders and bank executives into desired behaviors.
