Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter
June 6, 2008
I received a few emails after Wednesday's Google Map DD, including this one from
none other than my very own husband:
Dear Daily Digitizer,
Please allow me to make a few corrections to your June 4 DD. Kindly reference the attached graphic. You will note in yellow the Kramer homestead. Your representation was largely correct. Where you went wrong was when you indicated Spenser's roaming area (shown in a thin cyan line).
I have taken the liberty to annotate the actual places I've found him (to the best of my recollection). Of particular note is the orange square, where he was caught in a deer snare. The green dot was the time he tore his cruciate ligament. And my favorite was the three-hour chase that required, after finding him, crawling in the dark, under dense pricker bushes then walking through the nearby retention basin before calling you for a ride (red circle with white center). Those large clear areas near that site are not open fields but dense pricker bushes.
Please note that on all of these when I eventually found him his tail was wagging furiously and he usually gave me a look like "Oh hi, glad you could make it. Come here and smell this. When is mother picking us up?"
