The Daily Digital Photo
Clayton, Spenser, Scooter and Sherman: then and now.

July 23, 2009

I am sitting kitty corner to my sister as I write this and I have a feeling she would nix the photo so I'm trying to type quietly so she doesn't notice. I took this at the dog park this morning where she introduced me to man in his late 80s who goes there every morning with his dog. He sounds and acts at least half his age, and I wish I had more time to talk to him because one of the tidbits he has shared with Nancy is that his father was hired by Chiang Kai-Shek to lead a team of 17 Americans who established the modern Chinese Air Force. I know that has no beagle or basset relevance but it's pretty amazing so I thought I'd share it.

The dog park can be soporific. Hey, can you see Elliot's yarmulke? He's studying to be a rabbi.
