Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter
January 9, 2009
I'm glad I'm not a vet, how about you? This is Dr. Josh, the oncologist who treated both Spenser and
Scooter. I'm really glad I'm not an oncology vet. How depressing. We like Dr. Josh, though, he's
great with the beagles and great with us. He used to call Scooter "Bubba"
which I thought was just the cutest thing.
Our regular vet is about fifteen minutes away, and the speciality vet hospital is about fifty minutes away. Last year however, the speciality vet merged with (bought out?) our regular vet which is incredibly convenient not only because the specialists come up to our neck of the woods one or two days a week, but because the boys' records are now shared by both hospitals. And to top it off, our regular vet has gone 24-hours, which means we don't have to go to the emergency vet. I don't know what's in store for us but I do feel very confident that we're getting Spenser the best medical care possible. And I also know that there are many people out there supporting us. Thank-you so much for your thoughts, prayers and emails.
