Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter

February 17, 2009

We had some very strong winds one day last week and in the middle of the night Phillip heard a noise which he first attributed to Clayton but two days later realized was a piece of aluminum siding flying off the house. If you joined the DD years and years ago you know that Phillip almost singlehandedly sided our house one summer. This was not HIS siding, though, we hired someone to do the roof. (And, apparently, we will again.)

A loose piece of siding remained at the junction of where the phone and cable wires meet the house, so Phillip climbed up and cut it off. I stood at the bottom and pondered the inexorable laws of physics.

And if you're wondering, yes, we have two satellite dishes IN ADDITION to the cable. I just nod.
