Chronicling the life of Clayton and Spenser, with memories of Scooter
February 25, 2008
Spenser's ultra-sound and chest x-ray last Thursday were ALL CLEAR! What a relief!
However, his alk phos, which has something to do with the liver, is high, and the vet
wants to get to the bottom of this. So Spenser is on a three week course of antibiotics
in case infection is the cause, but probably not. If anyone has had experience with
this, I'd love to hear from you.
Clayton joined us on the trip to the vet so he wouldn't have to stay home
alone, and he was remarkably patient for what turned out to be a 2-hour wait.
The vet hospital is quite large and so we kept busy by meeting and greeting the other
dogs and their owners. I had my camera, but unfortunately not its memory card, so I
can't show you the 175 pound Newfoundland or the adorable beagle-dachshund, sorry.
