Phillip's and my interests and skills complement each other nicely. I am a pretty good cook, he can fix just about anything. I provide him with neatly folded undershirts and he replaces the gas for the grill. Phillip sided the house and built most of the furniture while I am really good about bringing things up that are left on the stairs. You get the picture. But when it comes to the yard, neither of us really could care less about landscaping. It's just not in our spheres of interest. I do like a nice lawn but will not do what it takes to sustain one for more than a couple of years and so it inevitably becomes overrun with crab grass and clover. Here you can see our nice little patio overrun by grass and weeds (not to mention hoses and siding). It needs a good dose of Roundup but neither of us is so motivated. Plus, we are not keen on spraying in the boys' yard. (If anyone has an organic alternative, please let me know.) But we have to figure out how to keep the cracks and crevices nice and clean when we do the front patio. We've narrowed it down to the following two pavers:

And this. For the life of me, I can't decide!
